Hello. I have an assignment that I did, and I need you to improve it!
I have attached my work “Dualism (philosophy)”, the RUBRIC, and the sources I picked (Lao Tzu & Abrams & francesco)
However, you can use more if needed from the other sources provided (2 others)
INSTRUCTIONS:
What are some of the roots of the dualism between man and nature (you could also frame this as between spirit and matter, man and woman/nature, self and world, mind and body)? Use readings from this unit to make historical, religious, and/or selfhood-based arguments. Provide and analyze the answers given by at least three of our readings. Are any of these sufficient? Synthesizing everything we’ve learned this unit, what is your take on this question? 4-5 pages. Due Sunday, 3/5 by midnight.
How you tackle this paper is up to you. By 4-5 pages, I mean double spaced, size 12 font. Citations are MLA, but you should only be using sources we have read in class, so there’s no need for a Works Cited. There’s also a generalized rubric uploaded into Course Materials. Everything from Unit I is good to use – which includes our readings over the next two weeks, as well as everything we’ve read so far.
