assignment: how to apply your new capabilities
to the “real world”.
I have chosen the tragic case of Malaysian
Airlines 370. As you probably know, it
disappeared in 2014 and has still not been found,
however it still occupies the minds of aviation
professionals, government officials and the
general public worldwide. The most recent
development is from 3 months ago, when the
Australian TV channel Sky news released this

ABC also released a similar report.
Please view this video and, using all the tools,
techniques and insights you have learned during
the course, develop a Crisis Communications
strategy for the Malaysian Government in
response to this new input. This can include their
Aviation and External Affairs ministries. I am expecting a 800-word Word document
submission or a PowerPoint / other presentation
which addresses the following audiences:
1. Relatives of the missing passengers and crew
2. Worldwide Aviation Authorities
3. The Malaysian public.
