Identify a company in which you have worked, desire to work, or would like to know more about.

The compensation project for this course has been divided into two parts; Compensation Essay 1 and Compensation Essay 2. The first part addresses establishing an employment position, which consists of job analysis and job evaluations. It is strictly from a corporate perspective prior to the hiring of the employee.

Part 2 of the compensation project deals with pay and performance, which will incorporate the employee. (Note: The projects build upon each other, therefore the same company and employment position will be utilized in Essay #1 and Essay #2)
COMPENSATION ESSAY #1
Identify a company in which you have worked, desire to work, or would like to know more about. Identify the company’s strategic goals. Create a position within the company (the same company and employment position will be used in Essay #2). Discuss how the position helps the company meet their strategic goals. Perform a Job Analysis and Job Evaluation for the position which you created. Discuss and detail the process.
Refer to rubric for complete details. Your project should be detailed and demonstrate an understanding of the course material.
