musical group) that you like to listen to, or that you would like to know more
about.
Research that group and its music, and write a 2-page, double spaced paper about
the group, using any of these suggestions for information.
~What is the group, and what kind of music is it?
~Who is in the group, where are they from, how did they form, what is their
intended message, if any?
~What instruments/singers are in the group?
~What are some of the important elements of its style? (driving rhythm, soothing
melodies, etc.)
~Who is this group’s intended audience? Are you part of that group?
~Who, in the group, do you particularly like, if any specific individuals?
~Why are you drawn to this music?
~If this is a group you just want to know more about, and you don’t really like their
music, explain why you don’t.
