(1) Clear purpose for undertaking a scoping review on the above research topic.
(2) Identify major themes, gaps and controversies within the research topic.
(3) Evidence that knowledge exists on the research topic.
(4) Clearly and precisely identify the aim, the objectives and the research question(s) to be addressed in the scoping review, relevant to the topic.
B. INCLUSION & EXCLUSION CRITERIA AND SEARCH STRATEGY
(1) Inclusion and exclusion criteria are framed using an appropriate tool.
(2) Justification for the proposed inclusion and exclusion criteria to select the studies for inclusion.
(3) Descriiption of the search strategy (databases/search engines, keywords/search terms).Describe a process for study selection and how decisions on study selection will be made. Explain how the quality of the selected studies will be ensured (based on their methodology and validity/credibility of their results/findings).
C. CHARTING THE DATA
(1) Provide a table with the information obtained from the selected studies described in sufficient detail. All relevant information/variables to be listed and defined.
D. DATA ANALYSIS & SYNTHESIS METHODS
(1) Discuss your strategy for data analysis and synthesis techniques to be used.
(2) Justify your chosen strategy by demonstrating understanding of techniques for data synthesis consistent with a scoping review approach.
E: Your work must define and justify appropriate research questions and critically evaluate data collection techniques.
F:Timeframe : Clearly presented and realistic and must demonstrate an understanding of how to plan for and manage a review.
